We ride north for around
90 minutes and stop for restrooms, coffee,cigarette,and to stretch
out. We continue north west and leave the main road to pass the mountains
and
go down to the coast again to "The Hidden Paradise II" restaurant
where we take a break, and set our order for lunch (not included in
the tour) so that when we come back they will start cooking just before
we arrive. From there "San Blas", a typical picturesque
town where you can visit the market, church, city hall and also buy
from the Huichol
Indians their beautiful crafts, from here visit the fort built by
the Spanish in 1768 with a magnificent view to get great pictures,
then to the church that will show, as
at the fort, the incredible construction made by the Spanish in the
18th. Century. From here to the highlight of this tour which is "La
Tovara Tour" where you can take a boat for 12 people (not included
in this tour) and go through fantastic jungle and see, besides the
incredible flowers and trees, animals in their
natural
habitat, Crocodiles, Turtles, Herons, Storks, Eagles, Iguanas, Owls,
Snakes and more. Also a movie
set for " Cabeza
de Vaca" an historical movie about a character in Mexico in
the 16th. Century. We also visit the crocodile farm (included) where
you will learn about these amazing creatures and other animals of the
region.
Then swim in a protected area in crystal clear water and refresh
yourselves, have a drink and enjoy the magnificent site. Lunch at
a hidden paradise - not include - and then back home.
