Enjoy a private boat trip in the beautiful area south of Puerto Vallarta. Your friendly, professional, bilingual guide will keep you away from the crowds, while you enjoy snorkelling in some great spots, cruising the lovely unspoilt coastline, enjoying deserted beaches and even having the chance to explore a Mexican village.
Cost is $60 per person (subject to a minimum of $180) which includes snorkelling gear, snacks, beers and fishing equipment if desired. Tours start in Boca de Tomatlan, pick-up & return service available for $30 or you can catch a bus from the south side for 4.5 pesos each way.

Hiking.

There's a nice trail from Boca de Tomatlan to Las Animas Beach. An easy 2 hour hike which goes by some hidden beaches. A guide is available, his name is Arturo and he will pick you up from where you're staying (Nuevo Vallarta excluded - meet at Sam's Club for you), pay all the bus fares and the water taxi back to Boca after the hike, for 350 pesos per person.
